You can help Woodfords provide services to Children and Adults with special needs.

Woodfords Family Services was originally founded by a small group of determined parents who had the vision to see that there was much more that could be done to enrich the lives of their children with special needs. In 1967 they started their own school in the basement of the Woodfords Congregational Church in Portland, and the "Woodfords Concept" was born. Woodfords has had many homes and has taken many forms during the ensuing years, and today we continue to evolve to best meet the needs of all children, adolescents and young adults with special needs and their families here in Maine.

We can’t continue our mission without the support of all our friends and neighbors. Your gift – of time, money, materials or planned gifts — is essential if we are to keep making a difference in the lives of the families we serve.
